Summary

Hannah Cooper just wanted a quiet vacation away from her busy work life in scenic Wyoming. But while she is enjoying her time in the beautiful landscape, she is unaware of the serial killer who has made her his next target. When Hannah survives the first attack, she realizes that it cannot end well until she gets some help. Riley Patterson gets appointed to protect her at all costs. Riley takes the help of the local hard-driving sheriff, who is determined to catch the killer, no matter what it takes.

While Riley tries his best to ensure Hannah’s safety, he gets himself in some of the most difficult situations. He remains a mystery, just like the man who is behind taking the life of Hannah. Overall Review

Overall Review

If you fan romantic suspense novels, then Case File is a treat for your reading compulsion. It is one of the most loved books by Harlequin Intrigue. The story is well written without skipping any plots, which makes it interesting for readers. The suspense may keep you waiting for a long time, but it can get a little obvious for the regular suspense novel readers. The highlight of the book is the love story that Paula Graves did well to portray. The readers complained about the timeline, which may be too fast to understand everything, and the way the killer is portrayed in the book also seems a little inconsistent.

One also cannot deny falling for the romance between the characters that gives it a classic plot that is enjoyable for light-hearted reading. A blend of action, suspense, and romance are what you need if you miss some action in your life. Case File: Canyon Creek is a good read for readers of all ages.
